Hoop Blah Mourinho has now hung Luke Shaw and Chris Smalling out to dry.

This kind of thing didn't really work out for him too well last season did it?

Interesting developments, according to someone talking to the Telegraph anyway.

rob_dawson I was watching something on TV the other say where someone said something like "It all fell apart for him at Chelsea for some reason"

Some reason? It was bloody obvious wasn't it. He treated the physio doctor woman like a tw@t which is someone the whole team probably depend on, that they like, that they see everyday for treatment or just around training ground etc... It doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that he lost the whole teams interest, respect, and motivation at that point

Agree with a lot of what you say, but I think things started falling apart at Chelsea before the Carneiro business, and a bit like he is now he was being critical of his players in public and hooking Terry off at half time.

As you say though, it all seemed to point to Mourinho losing the respect and support of his players.

How much longer has he got?

If that is all true, and knowing what we know it would seem highly likely, calling out players for a lack of courage and commitment is one thing, calling them out for these things when it is entirely inconsistent with reality is just disastrous.

I don't see how he can stay much longer because it is inevitable that the players are going to keep under-performing (I don't mean deliberately) if they think they are playing for a completely irrational oxf*rd as was clearly the case at Chelsea last season.

They are going to have to cut their losses.

And here is the latest in his long line of desperate and ever more feeble smokescreens thrown up to protect his crumbling ego and reputation.

It's everyone else's fault of course. Not just Shaw and Smalling (who everyone else seem to think are totally committed honest professionals) but EVERYONE!

No Fixed Abode And to think. They're only 3 points off 'magnificent unbeaten Spurs'.

sign of a good team - hit a bad patch of form without their two best players, and they're still unbeaten.

The sign of a good team is winning trophies.

Today's reports suggest that Smalling is now going to be out for 4 weeks due to injury....

I wonder if Jose ever tried playing football in the Portuguese 2nd division with a broken toe.

Normally 6-8 weeks to be match fit for a broken toe, depending on which bone, isn't it?

Unable to beat the Premier current whipping boys at OT
Mo sent off yet again
8 points out of the top-four...europa beckons
One win in the last seven league matches
Just one wins-worth of points ahead of West Brom

Who endorsed this clown of an appointment?

It's great

Man Utd's worst run of home results for 26 years apparently

Current United team very much like Liverpool of the last twenty years,
they're playing well but not winning. The opponent's goalkeeper is often
MotM. I watched the first half today and they totally battered Wham but
couldn't get the ball in the back of the net.

It's this kind of moderate success that's killer, everything looks like it going
in the right direction but is it really?
