FiNeRaIn Disgraceful from the morecombe players, turning up and losing 6-0 in a play-off game, pathetic.

Humanistic
Dirk Gently Now 4-0. The real "last game at Christie Park" will be such a flop for them

For want of anything better to do I've just been on Morecambe site to look at the plans for their new stadium. Interesting that two of the stands will be terraced. Does this make it unique (in the league at least) in terms of the modern stadium building?

Just about - they were only able to have terraces because they financed the new ground themselves. If they'd needed grant aid from the Football Foundation, they'd not have got it with terraces, as it's strict FF policy not to fund anything that's not all-seater - even for a club like Morecambe who are never likely to reach Tier 2!

Seems to have three sides standing. Behind both goals are covered terraces, plus an open terrace opposite the main stand. Seems quite an odd layout.

Good on them for doing something a bit different from the anodyne, faceless concrete bowl.

'greed. But an open terrace down one side seems odd.

Is it traditional terracing, or safe standing?

Watched the Aldershot game yesterday, absolute toilet. RFC cast-offs contrive to shoot themselves in the foot at the end of a diabolical game. Dean Morgan is still greedy and sh*t I see. If I had to watch League 2 football on a regular basis I'd shoot myself; neither team strung 3 passes together all game and the ball was in the air so often I'd expect it to be covered in volcanic ash.

Longer than you've been an Aldershot fan.....

To be fair, that is, he gets hit twice by one cop and then whacked in the legs by the other. Why exactly?

The Police are allowed to use batons only for self-defence. There is simply no excuse for them to be used in any other circumstances.

Swindon travel to The Valley tonight, 2-1 up after the first leg.

Hope Parky turns them over!

I'm guessing this wasn't Swindons game plan!
