Blue Hooped Moose
Smoking Kills Dancing Doe Rather he went to a proper run club than to the likes of Hull or Palace.

It's his perfect job, medium size club, ambition for better things, but not demanding it. Not a huge budget, decent squad already there.

City fans expect him to come in, splash the cash and attract big names.

Well, Ivar Ingimarsson is a pretty big name :)

A banker for their first signing under Coppell, watch this space. (Free transfer too isn't he?)

Smoking Kills Dancing Doe That is what I was gonna say.

The CIty fans will all be moaning he only signs ex Reading players, like we used to moan about is Brentford boys.

If Ivar does leave, I'd be shocked not to see him go to Bristol. Though they need a big centre half, so that will be Sonko!!

Funnily enough Gary Johnson tried to buy Sonko in January.

Bristol Evening post STEVE Coppell and Keith Millen will be charged with the task of masterminding Bristol City's bid for Premier League status.

Former Manchester United and England star Coppell will next week be appointed as successor to Gary Johnson, who departed Ashton Gate by mutual consent last month.

Johnson's loyal assistant for the past four-and-a-half years, Millen has been told by City chairman Steve Lansdown he definitely has a role to play in any new management structure.

Although their future titles are as yet unknown, Coppell and Millen will work side by side, either as director of football and first-team coach or in a more conventional manager/assistant partnership

Have to chuckle at the Bristol City fans.

- They rate Bradley Orr better than Ryan Bertrand. They would turn down the chance to sign him.
- Seem to think they have a better squad than us at the moment.
- Adam Federici/Hunt/Tabb would move to Ashton Gate.
- Our only decent players that they would sign would be McAnuff and Federici.
- That Noel Hunt is 'gash'.

Some inbred monkey Sonko and Ingmarson would really do our team some good!! We'd be pretty solid.

Pure comedy gold!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 629045.stm now on the Beeb. It's like a break-up, you feel happy for him but you can't help wondering what could have been and you'll never really move on...

I'd prefer BR joining BC, they've got themselves the best manager we ever had so far.

 I hope he does well with them but I feel bereft. I was hoping he'd come back to us in some position and not go to anyone else.

Hope SSC does well at BC as long as it's 1 place worse than us. Lucky we are ending the season well otherwise some of those RFC players could well go to BC. Not so sure if Sonko would want to leave Reading though, he's been a rock for us at the back this season.

SSC phoning round the country: "I'm putting the team back together".
