Bristol Evening post STEVE Coppell and Keith Millen will be charged with the task of masterminding Bristol City's bid for Premier League status.
Former Manchester United and England star Coppell will next week be appointed as successor to Gary Johnson, who departed Ashton Gate by mutual consent last month.
Johnson's loyal assistant for the past four-and-a-half years, Millen has been told by City chairman Steve Lansdown he definitely has a role to play in any new management structure.
Although their future titles are as yet unknown, Coppell and Millen will work side by side, either as director of football and first-team coach or in a more conventional manager/assistant partnership.

- They rate Bradley Orr better than Ryan Bertrand. They would turn down the chance to sign him.
- Seem to think they have a better squad than us at the moment.
- Adam Federici/Hunt/Tabb would move to Ashton Gate.
- Our only decent players that they would sign would be McAnuff and Federici.

Some inbred monkey Sonko and Ingmarson would really do our team some good!! We'd be pretty solid.
I hope he does well with them but I feel bereft. I was hoping he'd come back to us in some position and not go to anyone else. 
Kurtz Not so sure if Sonko would want to leave Reading though, he's been a rock for us at the back this season.
