I had completely forgotten about the Livermore-Clemence dream team.

Seems like a different world.

Sherwood should be given time - players need to gel.

My god, Tim Sherwood is theeeee most boring man ever. I've just seen his press meeting on SSN, I nearly fell asleep 5 times.

Thinks he is a serious candidate for the job full time so definitely fits the deluded part needed for the role.

Great appointment. Much better than that arrogant dick AVB. Very team and player centric, exactly what they need.

Well, I still think he'll not do the job that's expected, he'll be sacked by the first few games of next season after failing finishing 7th.

I think Daniel Levy deserves a lot of praise for this appointment. It's a old move that the fans wanted to and goes against the current grain of managerial appointments.

I for one really hope he succeeds.

I was surprised but pleased and hope he's a success.

We really need to see English coaches / managers being given a chance, otherwise, if the trend continues, there won't be a single one employed in the top 2 leagues in another decade or two.

Nah these things go in trends. When Rodgers wins the league this season then the top clubs will be clamouring for ex Reading Academy coaches. Nas Bashir will be managing Barcelona within a decade.
