Adkins for me was a person I took an instant dislike to, for no reason I just found him annoying, but you cannot argue about the job he was doing.

Hate Adkins. Ridiculously smug and annoying, but undeniably a brilliant manager. He had just earned a 2-2 draw away against the European Champions, and had a relegation threatened side in 15th with decent form to show for it.
I'll be honest I did think we should've sacked BM in December when we lost 7 on the trot, but now I'm very glad we didn't.
Things like this show how well Reading is run as a club.
