Last season Anton persuaded him to stay. Now he should send his boys around to sort him out!

RoyalBlue Smart move Kebe you dumb idiot! Is that really how you wanted to be remembered?

No guts, 'injured' more often than fit. Just how real were all of the other injuries you spineless tosser?

I expect he wants to be remembered as a player who played more than 18 times in the Premiership.

Not with his mental - sorry, injury, problems.

He fits Spacey's stereotype of a Frenchman absolutely perfectly.

Barry the bird boggler
Kebe's apprentice what did Adkins say about him, I have not heard the interview

Very annoyed he sounded. Along the lines that Kebe was told he would be playing tonight last week but then he rings up and says he's injured and as a manager what can you do with that attitude....
Club medical and stop paying his bloody wages for a start.

If you were on the verge of a move would you want to play at peterboro a few days before you go

Cureton's Volley Oh dear, proof again Nigel has a problem communicating with his players...

Not really. He told him he would play tonight. Jimmy decided he was unfit.

Don't get me wrong, I'm furious with Kebe. However, this smacks of the Guthrie incident, and consensus then was Brian communicated with him badly. I believe since joinning Adkins has likely been the same with Kebe. We'll see how it pans out but imo Kebe will always be a Reading legend.

Not the main man now Royston has arrived is he?!!

Oh well - that will be a nice fat chunk off the wage bill that can be put to use elsewhere.

Time is probably right to sell regardless of what Adkins has just said anyway. He's not getting any younger & can't ever do a full season.

2.8 lita injection Jimmy declard himself unfit on monday morning.

He said Jimmy could had helped Reading stay up if he was fit, he was fuming.

Why do you think Jimmy is angry. He was fit for Saturday but not chosen. A bit odd that thats his only defence for such a terrible performance

Jimmy probably thinks he deserves to start every game and like in the interview on saturday he said he was fit and trained for 2 weeks but was sent a text on friday telling him wasnt in the squad for the game at blackpool. Probably had enough

That's not what Adkins said at all though. You're just making that up. Dellor asked him directly why Kebe wasn't available - Adkins said he'd picked him to start but Kebe had decided himself he wasn't fit to play even though he was fit and had been training.

He didn't use it as an excuse. On Saturday he rightly said that some players needed a reality check if they thought they had the right to walk straight back into the team from injury. Jimmy Kebe is a cupid spineless stunt!

He was told (on Friday) that he'd be playing tonight. Adkins explanation being that he didn't want him traveling to Blackpool and back and he'd get the game tonight. Adkins said he left the training ground on Saturday after a conditioning session fully fit.

"He does what he wants" aside, no player picks and chooses when he plays. Deserves as much stick as Guthrie, if what Adkins has said is true.

One of the highlights of McDermotts reign a manager was his handling of Kebe and his immediate arm round the shoulder and boosting of his confidence and role within the side.

I've always thought Kebe's injury record was suspect and that on a regular basis he took too long to get over injuries and then, when he was fit, came into the side taking even longer to get back up to speed. Following some of the comments over the last few days I wonder how much it was a case of Kebe dictating things and his ring rushed back into the team was part of that man management as it sounds like Kebe has got the arse after not being rushed straight back into the side when he decided he was ready.

Interesting to hear it's not the first time he's done it either.

Not surprising Adkins didn't want him travelling. Don't forget that Kebe even manages to get 'injured' when he is travelling on a coach!

Pepe the Horseman Mebbe it's summit to do with Kebe allegedly saying he'll never play for Reading again, when Brian left.

Hmm...........
