2 ex players with West Ham connections to conduct the 4th round draw. Were ITV expecting a different result today?

For all the undoubted lolz at West Ham, the real LULZ are on ITV, who have paid a fortune for what used to be the best football competition in the world, but is now an unwelcome distraction for anybody with promotion/ relegation ambitions/ fears.

I bet many of you have forgotten already who won it last season.

Stupid thing is the stakes for both cups should be raised now. As it gives entry to the Europa League, win that and you now get a CL place. A long shot yes, but could give a forward thinking club a chance of gate crashing the CL riches.

Wigan Athletic. They beat Man City 1-0 with a Ben Watson headed goal from a corner on the right hand side. One of the great cup final upsets.

So you should. There are jester hats available in the Madejski Stadium megastore if that helps you come to terms with your newly found status as the fool of HNA?.

AthleticoSpizz Yep fair play to "Rockie" (an unloved suburb of Manchester)

Would masterbate down the Talksport phone-ins if they were to pull Man U/Citeh in the next round and actually beat them
starting to have to tie a knot in it already

No doubt, The Marauding Kes will get his home draw against them instead.

I knew that, but I have no recollection of who won it in 2012 or 2011. The only things I remember about the last decade are Portsmouth winning it (2007 maybe?) and Cardiff got to the final one year. As did Millwall I think.

2012 Chelsea beat Liverpool despite a second half fight back.

2011 Man City beat Stoke 1-0. To be fair it was mostly memorable for Mad Mario saying on live TV that he'd had a shit season and then asking the interviewer if he could say he'd had a shit season.

Why did they do the draw after the Forest West Ham game? - rather than waiting until after Man Utd Swansea (ie when all the games were played - that were on)

Most teams, that played yesterday knew who they were going to face in the next round before kicking a ball

Agreed - was shocked to get home and hear that the draw had been made, yet at the time the BBC Football website didn't have it uploaded :|

bobby1413 Walcott gestures "2-0" to the spurs fans as he is stretchered off.

Spurs fans pelt coins at him.

Sherwood asked "is that justified?" He replies "I didn't see it" still think he's a dick

I h8 this. If he is well enough to gesture to the fans with a smirk on his chops, he shouldnt be on a stretcher.

My point is that you should only be stretchered off if you are in so much pain that you cant walk. If you are in that much pain, you wouldnt be making gestures. If you are able to make gestures, you cant be in that much pain, and should walk off the pitch.
