Ascotexgunner Nice support from your team mates after missing a penalty. Not a blue shirt near Mbappe.

He walked straight off the pitch.......

Incredible they allowed Mbappe to take that, I'm surprised he was still on the pitch for it. he was awful.

Two great games of footy and Murray winning the tennis too. What a great day of sport.

Who knew Xhaka was that good? Absolutely immense tonight.

Thought the referee was excellent tonight, deserves a lot of praise. In fact the majority of the refs have been great all tournament.

St Pauli
Scutterbucketz I stuck £40 on france to qualify at halftime. I’d happily lose it to see them go out.

Come on Switzerland!

Having less disposable I've lost a £5 on this but never been more happy to!

It was money I won yesterday betting a free bet fiver on Belgium to win one nil. I’d never bet £40 “real” money out of my bank account. I get pissed off enough losing a tenner.

This is what happens when you bring Sissoko on.

Talking of refs - I'd assumed that as it is the Euros that all the refs came from European countries but the one in France v Switzerland was from Argentina

Yep

France Portugal, Wales Denmark and last night aside, refs have generally been spot on. Quicker and more incisive decisions, generally had control of games and even penalising play acting which is so often neglected in the Prem

Yeah I picked up on that. I'm guessing he might do La Liga games. That or he is just a very well thought of ref who has just been parachuted in by UEFA.

I have about £40 in credit sloshing around on William Hill on various bets, but yes, started with a bet of £10 real money. Still up! Mainly through Judas betting.

When England and Germany go out will lump everything I have left from the initial tenner (which should be over £20 at least) in the account on one team to win outright, Keeps me interested.

I am on a losing streak of a dozen bets. To be fair, I never bet on favourites. Most recent loss was Portugal yesterday.

I  when I saw him walking up to take must score pen No. 5.

What sort of idiot puts a young striker who has had a poor game and missed chances, plus is 0 goals in the tournament, on pen 5 in a shootout.

I’m up about the same. Made some mistakes in not cashing out earlier in the tournament. Won £70 off of two free five pound bets; england 1-0 against Czech an Belgium 1-0 yesterday.

I was given another free £5 bet for tomorrow against Germany, so have gone 2-0 on that one. It’s not a game I’d bet on with my own money. Will be horribly close.

The other way of looking at it is if he scores it he will then likely come good for the rest of the tournament and for a few days he would get that boost of being a national hero. Deschamps had to make a judgement call. Agree it was the wrong move all things considered, Mbappe has looked completely lost all tournament.
