Easy, just get the club to finance a fans clubhouse like they have in Holland (as seen on Danny Dyers 'Football Factories International' on Bravo  ). Those things are incredible, especially Utrect's.

Maybe we could deck it out in Windmills, clogs and Cannabis leaves in tribute!

Bloody hell - what a brilliant idea!

I wonder why no-one's ever thought of that before or thought to ask the club about it.

You'd have thought someone would have thought of it considering there used to be the "Royals Rendezvous" at Elm Park.

I think what he might be saying is:

"In order to know how many supporters Reading has, why don't we arrange for all Reading supporters to turn up for a particular match even if they don't have a ticket. Perhaps the chosen game should be a big game at home"

Hmmm let me think about that for a micro-second

I can see the logic for it being a big home game I guess, rather that a small away game, but after that I lose the will to live, let alone find any further logic in the suggestion.

Anyone would think they didn't open the Jazz Cafe on matchdays

I doubt the 22000 that get in the stadium with a ticket would fit in the jazz cafe (would certainally be squeeze) never mind those that turn up that don't have a ticket for that particular game

anyone aware of any venue in reading that we could use on a match day that every supporter could get into with or without a match ticket?

It would also need to be "family friendly" as a lot of our support is under 18

or

GLAND WE DID NOT LESS HOPE WE HAVE GOOD PRE SEASON GAMES.

or even

sidwell will stay halford will start playing next season

is my favourite.

3,000?

I think you might have set the bar a little high there.

I thought we had about 22000 reading fans at most home games last season, thats a fair few more than the 3000 you think we need to show we are not a "small team in berkshire"
