No chance you sent your name in wrong I suppose ?

All is not lost though, it costs nothing to change your name so nip down the registrary office tomorrow and change your name to match the one in the book.

I'm glad you find it funny!

And absolutely no chance I sent it in wrong, I checked, checked and checked again and then got someone else to check it. Pity the same wasn't done during the production process. :(

Hopefully it hasn't happened to anyone else.

Any chance RFC staff monitor this forum and have seen you're previous musings on their levels of service?

Just be thankful it didn't turn up with RoyalBlueIsAWanker in it.

TBF, a friend of mine had to have his "brick" remade twice due to spelling mistakes in his name.

On the Sheffield United away game page, they've got a picture from the home game later in the season.

Its got a different coloured ball, and the background is definately the Madejski stadium...

Ooops.

"Unfortunately there has been a slight delay on the signed premier class photo books as we have been waiting for Steve Coppell to sign the books.
I can confirm that your name has been printed in the back as promised. As soon as Steve Coppell has signed your book it will be dispatched to you."

bloody useless, Coppell out

Oh very funny. All my past criticisms have based on fact and on comparisons with businesses (and we're forever reminded the club is a business) who do offer high levels of service.

The real w*nkers are those who continue to defend the indefensible. I just hope their blind loyalty, some might call obsequiousness, is well rewarded.

Had the 'error' been an act of spite I could almost bring myself to acknowledge the perpertrator had something about them. The thing is, I'm told others have also suffered from the same thing and I'm sure they haven't all committed the crime of criticising poor performance. Sadly it has to be put down to incompetence and lack of care on the part of someone involved in the order/production process.

Fortunately the club do employ some very good staff who do their best to put things right that go wrong.

Well, last year they didnt put my name in the book at all, as my order was included in the dvd orders. Wasnt happy, but the megastore manager was really good, he gave me a free copy and said if i bring it back for pre-season training then he would get it signed......i did and he was true to his word....the cover is covered in signatures, first/reserve team!!
