Why have people been queuing since the early hours of the morning for tickets? It's not like 31,000 tickets + an extra allocation are going to sell out in an hour. Learn to use a computer, ffs.

LOL @ people going to the ticket office and getting the lower down seats

The people who queued this morning about 8am - got row 15, which I suppose isn't too bad - but certainly not the best seats in block 104.

Sat in Block 528 for the Swansea game, the view was absolutely terrific. I'll sit there this time regardless of whether it's in the Arsenal end or not.

Says on receipt, "Red upper" so assume its not at the front.

Well the website did say something about the ticket office having the 'best seats' - so maybe the split was lower half TO - upper half online/phone.

It didn't say that at all. All it said was the blocks were being spilt into two, half for personal callers and half for online/phone transactions. The only benefit of going to the ticket office is, you get a better idea where you are sitting - but you cannot pick your seat, you're given the tickets which are next in order of the block you choose.

It said:
'If you buy in person, you will be allocated what we believe are the best rows. It is not possible to pick a specific seat or row, just a specific block. Online you can only pick a specific block.'

Looks like its been overwritten now by the latest update but it was definitely there.

The people who called in person have got the front rows. They're certainly not the best seats unless you like watch the subs warm up and a stream of stewards walking past quite often. Plus the 1st tier isn't that steep until you get further back.

Just out of interest how did Chelsea divvy up the tickets for the League Cup final? How did you get yours?

Hoepfully there will be some seats in Blue left on Saturday! Not holding out much hope though.

I could get mine on Friday and then just sit on my own though....

I've got the blue section, block 112 upper.

Seems a good place, the "noisy" area and a bit further up the stand for a decent view of everything

All the details will be on the Chelsea.com website. I got mine through an old buddy of mine - Shaun Gore.

i went down the TO at 9am because I had read that the choice of tickets would be better. Got my tickets at 11.30 - almost exactly what I wanted, Block 525 row 3. And I did ask the girl for something near the front and that is what i got.

It was definitely there. They have made such a Fcuk up of it that they have taken that bit down again.
I was one of the idiots that queued and there were no more that 30 people in front of me. Doors opened at 10:00 and I didn't get served until 10:40. By that time blocks 102, 103, 120,121 and 122 had sold out ! How the fcuk did that happen if the blocks were split into two halves, one for online and the other for in person?
As it was it would depend on which window you went to as to what ticket they had. Absolute chaos.
Luckily i ended up with tickets for Block 104 row 20 which is fine but not what I wanted and why i queued from 7:15am.
So if you got the above blocks online i hate you !!!

Also gotta feel for the hundreds of people behind me in that queue who will be told that Red tickets are all gone and if you want the next best then they are being sold at the other queue in the East Stand!

Concerts/Gigs = front rows every time
Football = Further back is better,
edit:
nice seats, I sat there vs Swansea.
