Look, let's define falling demand as "the club is having to work harder to sell its core product". No-brainer - nearly all clubs seems to be in this position.

Does this mean expansion would be unwise? Completely moot and I wouldn't be surprised if that applies to the decisionmakers as much as to Nobbers here.

I think the aim should be to make it so the ground is only rarely 100 per cent sold out, rather than only rarely left with spare capacity. In other words, so nearly everyone who wants to spend their hard-earned on a seat can do so and families/groups of friends have a reasonable chance of seats together. 30K would fit the bill for that, 38K would be daft.

Probably the best lager in the world, surely this makes sense to all on this thread, would you agree Schards, Behindu and Woodcote?????
