I've been excited about plenty of signings, contract extentions, stadium plans and generally how the club is run.

If you aren't I suggest you may not be supporting the right club.

isn't it great having all these newbie plastic fans who have only ever known RFC during its most succesful period ever, yet, because they have been brought up in the football environment of massive transfer fees, over hyped top flight matches (TONIGHT ITS THE BIGGEST GAME EVER - BOLTON VERSUS STOKE.........) ridiculous salaries and wall to wall coverage of the sporting equivilient of OK! magazine, that they think the club owes them excitement.

I especially love the whine about "....can't the club take some risks now and then??" Why?? So you can boast about it in the playground?

This is the worst thing about the close season; all of these knbheads appear taking shiite.

Almost time to take the summer break from the boredom that comes to The Team at this time of the year, not much will happen, we will get a manager in, worth discussing, we can then discuss new signings.

But basically take a break folks, then come back for the football.

Leeds should be a lesson to us all. Champions League semis, but crippling debts
lost all their players, drop to League 1 and now will spend at least a third
season there... and they have the top-flight history, the stadium, the fan-base.

Than God for the Madjeski way, The Arsenal/Wenger way. Live within your means, build slowly

So that is why Madejski is still paying off a stadium that he loaned the money to pay to be build. Living within your means indeed. Or the £250m in debt Arsenal were in before building their half a million pound stadium having to issue bonds to pay for it... funny definition of living within your means.

I think we should play London Irish as the Reading Football team one weekend. That would be exciting and risky!

Let's sign Greg Halford again! And what about John Halls - heard he'd been released by Brentford! Now that would be risky!

I'm excited just thinking about the club - it's lucky I'm sat at my desk.

Mr Angry isn't it great having all these Oldie wooden fans who have only ever known RFC during its most succesful period ever and when we were in the doldrums, yet, because they have been brought up in the football environment of massive transfer fees, over hyped top flight matches, and the complete opposite (TONIGHT ITS THE BIGGEST GAME EVER - Preston North End VERSUS the Woolwich Arsenal.........) ridiculous salaries and wall to wall coverage of the sporting equivilient of OK! magazine and low coverage like the sporting equivelant of The Bible, that they think the club owes them excitement or maybe not.
