riverroyal Maybe the solution would be for a couple of thousand to stand all game . . . .

I take your point, but its not the case everywhere. At Norwich for instance the home fans stood and not once did their stewards make them sit down. Time and time again you see big matches no TV where home fans stand.

riverroyal So how do Norwich and other clubs manage to let thousands stand at every home game then? I dont think that any club has had its capacity reduced or stands closed because people stand!

davis69 I was referring to fans being banned unfairly for silly little offences such as standing up or swearing. I mean come off if rfc stewards want to start kicking fans out for swearing they will have to kick half the stadium out. I see the royal lady has not taken my constructive advice to politely shut up. There just no helping some folk these days.

Believe me, I'm not STARs biggest fan, but if you read what they wrote, you'll understand.
OUR council are a lot tougher on standing than a lot of other councils. They send people in to see what is happening at games. If we let everyone stand, we'd get fined, or worse.
