Great stuff as ever; I like your work Shades, as I am sure we all do.

That said, he's only been here a few days. I've been watching RFC for 21 years, where is my f*cking screensaver :x 8)

Only 21 years and HE gets a desktop. I'm going to sulk. Clearly my 37 years counts for nothing.

(You do know you've made a rod for your own back here Shades! )

Fantastic work as usual Shades, I think I've found my new background. Hopefully he'll be a success at Reading and we'll have another superb season next year.

Great, as usual Mr Shades. Is there a site where you have posted all your ... *ahem*... original a/w?

Oi, and while you're at it: what about my 39 years?

Is the "h" in his name optional?

For fear of falling to the depths of Kruzer's pedantry, I was going to point that out, too.

The problem is that there is no "gh" sound in Arabic and "k" is the nearest in the English language. The ruler of the UAE is spelled Shaikh Khalifa in the 'official' government English newspaper, but referred to as Sheikh - with the 'e' - Kalifa in the largest circulation English daily.

Dull and anal, I know.

You can tell we've arrived when we get pages of explanation on the spelling/pronunciation of our player's names. Last year Seol, this year Cisse.

It never happened in the good old days with the like of, er, Darius Wdowcyzk.
