The Management Team

Anybody got anything on the latest with the Dillon / Downes contract offers ...? Last thing I heard was that Dillon hadn't opened his envelope yet and Downes considered his offer to be "derisory" and was considering his options ...

Obviously these two signings would be equal, if not greater, than any player signed prior to next season ...

EP mentioned a couple of days ago that both contracts would be signed shortly.

Don't think the Wally quote was anything to worry about !

Coppell signed his deal purely because of the desire of his staff to have longer deals so I'm sure he'll have ensured the offers were acceptable.

Never , as far as I know.

The Sidwell comment was always that he wasn;t going to make his mind up until the end of the season....

Maybe it wasn't the EP but whilst accepting Steve's own comments about waiting until the end of the season, I know I saw quite a few quotes saying "He will sign in the next few days"

Now we need to tie down Wally. He is vital for us! What he has done for our defence is quite something and I wouldn't like to see him leave.
