Again showed why he starts. Runs his socks off - ran for the ball when their defenders gave up. Fantastic header back into the box too.
It's flashes of determination like this that really do change a game and result in goals.
Even if they're wrongly disallowed

So... the old chestnut again: the case for video replay, especially now that we're talking even more millions thatn before. Every point/ decision can literally cost millions.
It would stamp out the Portuguese-style cheating filth which has been creeping more and more into the game.
And would help sort out vital mistakes like the one seen today.
The only conceivable negative (for non-Cheatski fans) are that there'd be too many pauses in the game. However, it would in the longrun cut down on pauses created by unnecessary free kicks etc caused by diving. Furthermoe many cases could be decided in HT - with ref/ linesman decisions adhered to until then eg today's disallowed goal could easily be looked at in HT and given - woudn't matter too much, and wouldn't slow the game down at all.
Lastly, it would lead to an increase in referee/ linesman consistency and performance as it'd make it much easier to assess them objectively.
It's absolutley SHOCKING that in this day and age multimillion pound decisions are made by haphazard split decisions which turn out in many instances to be wrong.
Rant over. Flame me, discuss, whatever.
