New Team: Prediction League Note

by Snowball » 07 Aug 2019 14:50

PLEASE NOTE

THIRD POST THIS THREAD TO COVER CUP GAMES

There have been a number of major transfers in, and we may not be finished.

If any Nobber wishes to change his/her prediction I will accept changes up to
midnight Thursday

Posted here as maybe people don't look at the prediction thread
after they have posted their own prediction

========================================

On this note (team-changes) we have one or two Nobbers who always wait
until the last minute (after 2PM on Saturdays, sometimes as late as 2:59)
gaining a definite advantage over the majority of Nobbers who have to
predict the team.

To cater for that, I will add two points to all predictions in before 1800 Fridays
or 1800 the day before an evening or night-time game

This week, because of a lot of potential changes, it's 1800 Thursday for CHANGES
1800 Friday for "original posts"

THIS WEEK ONLY

God knows what the starting 11 will be today (and she refuses to tell me)

So.....

If your prediction is for a Reading First-Half Scorer
and your player is not starting, you may change
the player name (but not the time)

If your prediction is for a Reading SECOND-Half Scorer
and your player is not starting OR on the bench, you may change
the player name (but not the time)

The above without any points penalty

You can change your mind for other circumstances including Jesus came to you in a dream
but if you do so you lose the 4/2 bonus.

I overlooked the fact that this could go to Penalties

We will do what we did last season

Place your prediction as normal FOR NINETY MINUTES

FOLLOWED BY

IF PENALTIES, then (for example) Wycombe to win shoot-out 4-2

This is just a bonus "IF" situation. You can predict RFC to win easily
but still predict what happens IF their is a penalty shoot-out

Example below

Wycombe 0-1 Reading HT
Wycombe 0-3 Reading FT

12 Puscas
========
49 Loader
67 Olise

If Penalties, Reading to win shoot-out 3-4
