Centre midfield vs Sheff Wed

Interested to hear people's thoughts on how we line up against Sheff Wed in central midfield

I feel as though Liam Kelly should be given a chance in the 10 role or even CDM very good on the ball and keeps things ticking nicely.

My central midfield 3 would be:

Evans Van Den Berg
Kelly

Alternatively should Jaap decide against Kelly would play the below with Yakou starting out wide.

Finally ... Sandro Wieser, why is he not playing? Seems like a waste of a signing to me

Kelly, sadly, will stay stuck on the bench.

Would like to see Harriott come in for Beerens as well, but don't think it will happen

Sutekh has nailed it. I'd be happier with Kelly on the bench. Sheff Weds are gonna be a tough side - I'd save Kelly for other days.

Wieser is this year's Alex Fernandez. I think he was essentially signed as a safety net in case Joey didn't work out and Evans couldn't step up. They both worked out so he's not had a chance. We might see him come in if they are ever both unavailable at the same time.

Evans and Joey are both good players but I can't help thinking that they're too similar to be an effective partnership. I'd like someone with a bit more of an attacking instinct. Kelly would be ideal. I don't think Stam will pick him though.

Would love to see Kelly start in a more attacking role although I doubt he will.
VDB looked an absolute liability on Saturday so I can only hope he's match fit for Wednesday
