You may have noticed on Sky Sports News or in various newspapers recently that HRK is desperate to play in the premier league, preferably with "Cardiff" as he is "Welsh".

Please help this deserving case by contacting Cardiff City Football Club and asking them to offer RFC several million pounds to take this vastly overrated one footed player back to his homeland where he can run around in circles and lose possession to his hearts content.

I imagine this is extracted from something like:
Journo: So, would you want to play in the Premier League?
HRK: Yeah, I guess if there's an opportunity.
Journo: Well you play for Wales, what about Cardiff?
HRK: They're a good club, I'd consider it if that opportunity arose.

And then every lazy journalist extracted a story from it!
But let's not criticise, it makes sense for him to move somewhere reminiscent of that beautiful Welsh village of Acton in which he grew up!

He has massively improved in this past season, our only dangerous player since McDermott left. But over the whole season I agree he has very average.
I didnt quite get the same from his interviews are you seemed to, but there were a few hints from him.
It surprises me how our fairly average players like HRK and Pearce (judging on this season only) are the ones dropping come and get me's yet our quality players like ALF, Guthrie, Pog, Mariappa and McCarthy are all keeping their heads down and getting on with it.

Hes improved alot in recent times.I hope he stays with us.We cant rule out Jimmy going this summer considering he does what he wants and Hal would be my second choice out wide on the right

Probably something to do with sharing the same agent. Can't believe people would be happy to see HRK leave, he was one of our best players last season and I think he'd tear up the Championship now.

Hal Robson-Kanu admits he would find it difficult to leave Reading, but is eager to remain in the Premier League.

The Wales international suffered relegation out of the top flight in 2012/13, with the Royals spending just one season back among the elite.

There is a desire to bounce straight back, but departures from the Madejski Stadium are inevitable this summer.

It has been suggested that Robson-Kanu could be among those to move on, with the 24-year-old having caught the eye in a struggling side.

As a product of Reading's academy system he concedes it would be a wrench to head for the exits, but he has ambitions of gracing the very top of the game.

Robson-Kanu told Sky Sports News HD: "Scoring seven goals, I ended up the highest scoring midfielder in the Premier League in Reading's history, which was nice on a personal note.

"After coming through the academy it would be hard for me to leave, but in terms of my personal ambition I want to play in the Premier League. I want to play for a top-four club."

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Robson-Kanu, as he has just one year remaining on his current contract, but he is confident that better times lie ahead for Reading after an eventful year at the Madejski.

He added: "As players, we had a lot of affection for Brian (McDermott). For me personally, having come through the academy with him, it was sad to see him go but with football you have to look forward and you have to move on.

"Brian had his way of playing, as does Nigel (Adkins) - it's attacking, it's fast and next season we have got every opportunity of going straight back up with the nucleus of the squad and a lot of young players who are hungry."

Maybe cos the quality ones are being approached on the quiet? There are rumours about 4 of those last 5, so they dont need to drop any hints

Honestly no loss to Reading if he goes as he'd attract good wonga towards a better player. Of course staying at reading and playing regularly in a team returning to the PL would be better for his career at this stage then finding himself in the same position next year when Cardiff get relegated

I think people don't realise the guys potential for us IF he is played in right position which I think is either striker or just behind. He would be a big loss IMO

One of my favourite players from last season. He has improved massively, and I would be disappointed if he left without seeing what he can do given a whole season in the championship. I think he could mature into a top player.

The only one of our "heroes" from last season I would be sad to see go would be Alex McCarthy, possibly ALF. The rest can do one because they weren't good enough. Happy if Nige wants to make wholesale changes tbh.
