Anyone mentioned the drummer yet?

I hate the drummer, and when I saw him outside with his drum I thought "oh no".

But, he was 'drumming' near me and, to be fair, it did generate a decent atmosphere.

90% of the time though it adds nothing to our atmosphere - he bangs away in the North stand and about 10 people join in, and all you can hear is the monotonous beat of his drum.

And drums at football matches are nearly as cringeworthy as rumblestix et al

greed. Not as necessary at the Madj, but was needed yesterday considering we were spread across such a big area.

Likewise, I can't stand them myself but thank oxf*rd they were there cos the atmosphere even before the Swansea first pen was shite.
At least they got people going for a bit anyway.

Keep that drummer over where he is. It's no surprise there is a huge amount of space around him.

No Fixed Abode Swansea were very loud.

Totally agreed.

Both times they sung they were pretty loud.

The Aoustics were a bit strange, the drum beat almost reverberated.

The Drummers did well I thought, they contributed to the atmosphere. We were louder than Swansea, no doubt about it!

He got the day-trippers going. It would have been silent in block 125 without him, so I give him my thanks.

We weren't louder than Swansea by the way, and I was pretty well placed for an unbiased judgement on that.

I don't quite think we hit the wall of noise levels that were coming from Swansea. It's difficult at the best of times to appraise local noise.

Not from where I was, didn't hear him in 240. Was a refreshing change.
