Kebe on the other hand can oxf*rd off and die. He wasted about 4 glorious chances to put us ahead in the space of about 10 minutes. Had he not been so wasteful Bikey's stupidity wouldn't have mattered and maybe wouldn't have happened.

Agreed. Bikey sure has his shortcomings, but he's a quality player and we would miss him severely. Neither of those things can be said of Kebe. I've tried to like him, Lord knows I have, but the guy looked out of his depth out there today. And given that we're supposed to be reaching for a higher level of football, that doesn't bode well. He needs moving on.

Terminal Boardom Gives away a stupid penalty then gets fouled, over reacts and deservedly sent off. He has now, single handedly, reduced our chances of getting to Wembley. For this he is rightly labelled a twat.

"Single-handedly reduced our chances" -

The catalog of missed chances were his fault too then?

The player was on the edge of the box and running into it. Definite penalty.

red cards and concentration lapses = liability. It doesn't matter if he plays well for most of the time if he costs us games like that.

He should have been sent off for his ridiculous reaction to the blatantly obvious penalty.

dellwoodboy I certainly hope he never plays for Reading again and surely it will be a surprise if he does.

I don't and no it won't be.

A new m,anagwer is not going to want him

Shaman can be unpredictable, they might.

and even if in the worst nightmare Coppell stays surely he would never play him again.

Hope he does and I'm sure he would.

Todays events were just another stage in the demise of Reading since Boxing Day and the only hope of redemption is a GOOD win on Tuesday evening but I fear we will see another clueless 0-0. The only good thing about that is it will bring this season to an end.

Whatever.

I think I am fair in saying that. The missed chances were missed because of excellent goalkeeping and defending. Bikey, having got a straight red, will be suspended for 3 games so even if we progress to Wembley he will be suspended resulting in a relatively inexperienced centre back playing.

As for Kebe, I remember when he played his first game for us last season. He came on as a sub and his first touch was so bad that there was a huge roar of laughter from around the Mad Stad. He has not got better. He is, and always will be, a non-footballer. He makes shunt look talented and that is saying something.

He was bang out of order today....but obviously just frustrated......no excuse for his petulance.....but I still rate him as a player...at least he plays with passion...yes he did give Burnley a penalty..a dubious one at that....but i think he is solid and will be missed on Tuesday....and Doyle unfortunately too!

Regardless of our failure to score, Bikey essentially gifted Burnley a goal AND got sent off, weakening a side which hasn't won at home since JANUARY and needs to win by 2 goals to be sure of going through to the final.

He has cost us the semi.

Wrong again Spacker.

It was a steward/stretcher bearer. And he was trying to interfer with the Cameroon physio, get get the injured player off the pitch, so the home nation could get on with scoring an equaliser so they had a chance of getting to the final.

Personally I'm fuming. He's good, but he's unreliable and he has a terrible temperament. I want him out, but at the same time I honestly don't think we can afford to lose him given Doobs and Ivar are pretty much at the end of their careers and Pearce is still inexperienced.

Kebe on the other hand can oxf*rd off and die. He wasted about 4 glorious chances to put us ahead in the space of about 10 minutes. Had he not been so wasteful Bikey's stupidity wouldn't have mattered and maybe wouldn't have happened.

Hm, I've had a bad night of posting.. Maybe ill keep my little facts to myself
I agree, he is a good player on his day, however he can also flair up at anytime. I also think that Pearce is good enough, and if we do sell Bikey then we could buy another defender who is same quality, but doesn't flair up as easily as Bikey, and give the club as much bad publicity as he does. Lets face it we have had some bad press in recent years, with the Chelsea accidents in one game and the "phantom goal".
Agreed with the Kebe thing though. He is like Bikey a great player on his day, but he has far to many bad days to his good days

How can losing a "liability" weaken the team? This is a good, strong, watertight arguement you're presenting her.

Greatest post ever. Excuse me while I go to A & E for x-rays on what I suspect are fractured ribs from laughing so much.

Because he doesn't make those sort of mistakes every game and we don't have anyone anywhere near as talented to replace him. Pearce is a promising, but average Championship defender.

Absolutely. In those terms he's a total, utter, complete and unreconstituted TWAT!

I just get a little bit pissed off with the "he's not fit to wear the shirt", "must not play for us again" posturing because he got caught doing something that less naive players get away with week in, week out.

He has cost us the semi.

Let's just hope not.

I don't get it. Kebe is a good player on his day, he can put a good ball into the box when he wants to, its just he has had far more bad games than he has good ones. However every player in our team has had some really poor games since Christmas, which is why we slipped from a very strong 2nd place to in my personal opinion relegation form

So, if a player is tackled outside the box and falls into the area it's a pen? On the edge is not in. The Burnley player in that picture is only just in the area therefore the offense must have occurred outside the area, therefore no pen.

He's still an idiot for doing it though.

Not once, but twice when Hahnemann gave it back to him. And his ridiculous reaction to the blatantly obvious shirt pull for the penalty. He's a fecking crazy.

Exactly my point. I do not want to see him in our shirt again.

Bikey's a liability, no question. He can do some things well, he can do some things badly so from a footballling perspective has never proven himself with us. But add to that that little bit of a mentalist within him and he becomes a pure liability, as witnessed today. Yes, his actions and reactions are sometimes funny, but they are also too costly. Remember we nearly didn't sign him for the same reason.

Kebe - get rid of him too. Nice to see him go past players but think of the amount of time wasted in a game setting up a move, getting the ball to him for him to sky it into the crowd, or scuff it along the floor, or make the wrong decision. Norwich is the only game we saw an end product form him in the whole season (so far). That's not good enough. I honestly don't think he can put in a good ball when he wants to, it is purely down to luck when he crosses it and he succeeds maybe 10% of the time.
