N'Zogbia looks like he could be joining Wigan. Atleast Wigan still could get a left winger.

Turns8 Drove past about 20mins ago and was surprised to see about 10 tents on the verge...the idiots are only camping out overnight

I wound the window down and said that SSN had reported Hunt was in talks with Spurs and this sent them all over the edge and they were threatening to break into the stadium and tear the pitch up :o

Tents or caravans?? - could be Gypo Shunts family camping out to secure him a pay rise so that he can move them from mobile accommodation into something more permanent! :D

Stephen Hunt is going nowhere, as proven by the new living yards being built opposite the training ground.

Now I am really confused, most obviously a hoax, good fun one.

But I cannot see one person who seems to believe it from the replies, surely all everyone did was try to kep it going a bit?

crossie LOL!

SSN just showed a quick clip before the ads and said something like "Reading fans want to save their players".

Can't believe there's that many people for Hunty and Harper. The Save Our Steve protest was classic, you can't re-create it!!!
Save our players from poverty, sell them to a club who can afford to treble their salary.

Hunt and Harper don't need saving, If the club want to keep Harper they just refuse to sell him. As for Hunt well his contract was signed by both player and club and I'm sure Reading could have removed the £5m release clause or made it inactive during the first year if they really wanted to - sure it would have involved paying the player more cash.

Players come and go, usually at the clubs whim not their own.

Steve Coppell was different, he was a free agent and his reasons for leaving appeared not to be because he wanted to further his carreer elsewhere but because he felt he'd let us down, Therefore the protests were to show him that we didn't feel that way.

Personally I don't believe any of our players are irreplacable, although we don't want to be in the position of having to replace too many in one go! Perhaps if Harper and Hunt were to play like Shorey did before he left there wouldn't be any fuss made by the fans.

If the club accept an offer for Harper then that tells Harper that he is not indispensible and as such he can move on without any guilt feelings at he's leaving the club in the lurch. He may feel he has a duty to move on to give the likes of Karacan a chance.

As for Hunt, the same applies... the club signed a contract with a rumoured £5m release fee, So they presumably worked out that this would be adequate compensation for losing Hunt. They have already therefore stated that he is not indispensible but worth £5m..... of course, the flip side is Hunt announced his intentions to move on at contract stage and the club agreed to the clause.

Neither player is being disloyal to their contract, only Sonko and Fae did that by refusing to play.

You could argue Leroy Lita was disloyal by going off on loan to Norwich instead of staying at the club.

Then again the flipside is that the club were disloyal to Lita by loaning him out. Where does this therefore end. As Lita needed to play, needed match fitness and to possibly clear his head, then the loan served it's purpose.

Please tell me you are joking by suggesting that any player would feel he has a duty to move on so another player can be given a chance.
