Flash In this week's programme, it said that Kev's girlfriend has got a job and her own career all based in Reading. He wouldn't jeopardise all of that now would he?

Sporting Life Doyle is now keen for compatriot Hunt to stay at the club, with Everton and Sunderland linked with the midfielder.
He added: "I wouldn't blame him if he left, he is older than me and has to think about his future. But we don't want one of our best players leaving in January. He is a great asset."

Victor Meldrew Over the years we have seen desperate Premiership clubs breaking the bank with signings to help their survival cause.
Money usually talks and if Sunderland,Newcastle or the like come calling in January with a £10 million offer can you really see Reading resisting?
For those clubs a bet of £10 million on a player who might score a few goals to stave off relegation could be seen as reasonable when the Sky money for another year comes to another £30 million plus.
We didn't see the need to speculate last January and look what happened?
These clubs don't baulk at coughing up the odd £10 million.
So enjoy Doyle while we can and as Bedding I think it was on another topic suggested we should pray for Doyle to have a minor injury in January-bad enough to worry a potential buyer but not bad enough to miss more than 2-3 league games.
Premier league clubs won't want to sell strikers to the opposition and half-season punts on foreign league players is thought to be more risky than a gamble on a player who has scored goals in The Premier League.
I'm with the rest of you on here in not wanting him to go but I don't think this new contract alters the position on whether he stays or goes.
Footballers are mercenaries on the whole and if we have given him a contract worth say £30,000 per week some of the bigger clubs will no doubt double that to get their man.
BTW I have never got over that big club QPR coming in for Simon Osborn when I believe he was under contract.
