arthurfondrelli Best big screens in the Championship imo

No seconds on the clock counts as a fail for me

bloody Volvo driver - Brighton Bay Packers - anyone else notice on at least 2 occasions (including the run up to them hitting the bar) Brighton used "blockers" to clear a path for the bloke running with the ball. Not sure if that is clever play or not.

Yep, we picked up on this although I likened it more to a high screen in basketball

Obviously elated to come away from that with a win. Thought our midfield was almost completely anonymous except for McAnuff (barely saw Mullins or Cywka touch the ball). Not really sure how we did it, but delighted.
I thought we gave them too much time on the ball generally - against these teams you surely have to close down high up the pitch to break up play - but maybe the team is getting tired. Certainly most on the pitch looked dead on their feet at the end, which makes holding on even more lovely.

Didn't actually have any problems with the trains, but I can from London via Lewes. Bit of a wait at the end, but same as anywhere really. Must have been worse going to Brighton.

Thought the ground was quite nice but a bit weird - apart from the big stand it looked like they'd forgotten to get enough seat. Each of the other three stands was tiny. Acoustics were great though - when the big stand got going it did sound proper loud.

Cheerleader on the right on our side as the teams came out was the best. Really working her bum.

all season long we have been happy to let teams fanny about in front of us, and only really press when they threaten to get into dangerous areas

Actually I guess that's a fair point. It just felt like Brighton got into our area much more easily than a lot of teams - which I kinda felt was because people in the middle last night weren't as effective as Jem and Ledge at closing down. Maybe 'high up the pitch' was incorrect... It's more once they get in our half. Or it may have just been I was generally shitting myself last night.

TBF Vincente is a decent player, obviously didn't bring his scoring boots but you can't criticise our defence too badly when hes playing well.

Bucks Dave There was little of the play acting they showed at the MadStad

I went to a different game from you my friend.

Great smash and grab, made even sweeter when I found out the winning goal was deflected. The perfect result against a tappy tap team that just kept falling over when they couldn't get through a resolute Royals defence.

Strolling back from the station to my hotel, I heard a muffled cry of "URZZZZ" coming from an open ground floor window, as one of the occupants within spotted somebody in front of me wearing a Reading shirt. As I drew level with the window, and with no Reading colours visible, I put on my stern-middle-aged-man face and beckoned the noisy youth to come to the window. He did so - possibly fearing a telling off from the anonymous grumpy bloke outside his window who seemed cheesed off by the noise.
"Excuse me young man" I said, "I have something to say to you."
PAUSE
"URZZZZ!"
He seemed a bit surprised, and then delighted!

It was all about the left side of the away end :D

Effective performance nonetheless.

Great concourse though!

It's all about Millwall's Seoul Olympics style display. No milliseconds counts as a fail for me.

Thought that Kebe had signed for BHA as seemed on intent on giving the ball away.

Midfield lacked anybody that could tackle.

Overall a poor display from an inform team. Shadow of the previous winning promotion team.

Quality of Championship isn't great this year either.

Listening to the radio it was hard to believe that Mullins was out on the pitch. Can't remember his name being mentioned. Will Tabby be fit for Friday (and L'Wood)? Bloody hope so.
