Archie's penalty no probs in block 537, great atmos.

Totally agree we were in 538 and had a great time despite the result.

Got to say I completely missed all this too. Apart from the result I had an absolutely cracking day out.

The Globe was great fun, excellent atmosphere and good banter between the fans. Definitely 1-0 to Reading fans there. As someone I was chatting to put it, this is where the real fans come to drink before Wembley...not a day tripper in sight.

Block 527 was also fine. No one telling us to sit down, relatively good atmosphere considering we were right up on the half way line, and mental celebrations when the second went in. Not quite sure how I survived absolute stacking it on the steps and smacking my head on a railing.

Finished off drowning our sorrows in a pub near Marlyebone, before stumbling home around 11pm.

Would definitely do it all again next year, even if we are destined never to go up by this god damn route.

I was in Block 125, i stood for most of the game and the guys behind me where fine tbh, it only pissed me off when they started crowing at hlaf time to leave because " we where sunk" I mean you pay £76.00 per ticket to back to team and leave....early, i them told them Football is this way and that to qualifiy to enjoy the victories to need to take the pain of defeat, i also told them that if they knew Reading, we where the masters of come back....

Maybe next time the club should use the East Stand ticket windows to create an "East Stand" at Wembley and ask the ticket agents/website to identify what part of the Mad people would normally choose to sit in. It wouldn't solve all the problems but at least folk would have an expectation of the type of fans they would be sitting (standing) with.

I've got no problem with passion and swearing at football, I enjoyed my days in the Southbank, but now, as a parent I appreciate being able to bring my kids to the West Stand where they will hear swearing but not with the same level of vitriol generated over in the east. I'm sure my boys will grow up to follow RFC and will in turn do their stint in Y26 while I sit in the Upper West with a blanket on my knees.

We did have an issue with two fellas sitting just behind us in 238. I really don't know what they were thinking - Club Wembley seats, £80 notes a pop, surrounded by families. But these were real fans, real passion.

"Dowd, take your oxf*rd cock out of their arses"

"Sheep, sheep, sheep shaggers"

"Dowd, take your oxf*rd cock out of their arses"

"oxf*rd useless"

"Dowd, take your oxf*rd cock out of their arses"

"What a waste of oxf*rd £75"

"This is shit, I want to go home"

"I've texted my mate, we're going to fcuk up some Swansea after"

I was as much depressed by their inability to think of anything original or amusing to say as I was uncomfortable that my children had to listen to this degenerate.

No-one grassed them up to the stewards but one dad asked them to moderate their language as there were kids all around them. "It's a oxf*rd football match, what do you oxf*rd expect?"

There were 40,000 of our fans at Wembley. I guess the OP would be happier with 8,000 Royals dotted about. Room to stand without obstructing anyone's view and no-one upset by a few cuss words.

Everyone in block 132 stood the whole game - had no trouble. I was slightly miffed as to why we only ever sang 3 songs all game.......

Next year we'll hopefully go up automatically, in which case maybe we should all head into Londers anyway for the playoffs and skip the Wembley bit.

If you pay for seat you expect to be able to sit in it and see the game.

Whether you go to all the games and sing your heart out or Wembley was your first, that is your right.....

Sorry to all you true Reading fans

Avon Royal Fuck off and never come back.

That really mattered to some of us. Have never been so ashamed to be a Reading fan. What happened on the pitch was football, it happens. However, what happened in the stands was unforgivable. Getting real fans ejected because they show passion is lower than low. If you don't like shouting and swearing then stay at home.

Oh, and nobody gives a fuck if there are kids present.

Exactly!!!! these daytrippers/plastics were a disgrace!!!!

I sit in Y26 and i think next season we should make it known that we hate daytrippers Fu£king HobNob heads!!!!

We made a lot of noise but I was surprised at the lack of songs.

I was embarrassed by my behaviour at certain points of the game, especially when I realised there were three VERY young children sat behind me (if you were the father of kids behind me in 137, I am sincerely sorry), but I really couldn't help myself. That game meant a lot and it hurt when we were down and when we started our come back, I got up and sang until I was so hoarse I couldn't sing any more.

Go to a big game at Wembley and you have to expect some people to want to show passion by standing up and singing. Perhaps you shouldn't have to hear the language that came from me though...

Where else can children learn how to swear - and where and when swearing is and isn't acceptable - other than at a passionate football match? It's a vital learning experience and a crucial part of growing up.

Yep I was cursing with the best of them, at Phil Dowd when he was giving all the decisions their way. Was a kid two seats to my left (10 year old boy) and apparently 2 young girls close by. Feel bad I swore but it was the occasion. What an atmosphere yesterday!

royalexile Well i never had a problem down in block 133 although the singing was fairly muted. Those that left early allowed me and Winch to get to the front so thanks.

Were you wearing a cap? If so, I shook your hand and gave you a little hug at the end...

Great day out though weren't it apart from the result and the oxf*rd ref (but looking back at replays both seemed liked penalties)

The retro songs in the Green Man after the game was probably my highlight.
