Coppell's Right Footed 11 5.5 million, money is available for Steve, even though we must have fortune in the coffers anyway. bye Dave.

2 technical players gone now, only need to sell Shorey and Matejovsky now then we are left with a load of spastics trying to oxf*rd a door knob

People Talking of 5.5million?

by FiNeRaIn » 18 Jul 2008 17:25

So the people saying " 5.5 million is a good fee for us", when will you realise than none of it will be invested in the team and madejski has a new Ferrari lined up?

Shocking transfer.

I don't know what is more laughable, selling your best players or having a recently promoted championship team showing more ambition than we ever did in the prem. Sickening times.

good price in the end

gutted to see him go-he seems to have changed his mind about the prem primadonnas and high wages etc

he and harps are the heart of the club, and id hoped we would keep one of them

still at least there are funds now available-we need a RW and a striker for starters!

How much did we pay for Kits? I'd be quite happy if we only spend half a million and get another one like him.

Price is good and if we get a grip and invest it then we'll be fine. But if we want to just add it to the season ticket monies, tv monies, and parachute payments and sit on it in the bank then we'll achieve nothing more than being more attractive to a cheap investor who won't be able to take us forward. Come on, let's take some risks for once...fair play to Stoke on that.

£5.5million is a cracking price for ol rusty bollocks. I wish him luck at Stoke, I think he will need it.

Will be very interesting to see how much Yeovil want for Owusu now, tricky as they now know what we have to spend. Anything around £1million would probably represent good value for Coppell.

I really pity you. How can anyone be so bitter, so negative and so thick all at the same time. On the other hand, fair play to you, it really takes some doing.

True. And West Brom today signed Scott Carson taking their spending to £13.75m this close season. What did we spend, maybe £5m over 2 seasons, mainly on tat? And we wonder "how it could have been us" that got relegated.

Yes. But it also hurts to see them playing in your shirt and not perfroming - when they clearly want to be somewhere else. Which is the alternative in this situation (and many a couple of others, too!)

Personally, I think £5.5M is a ludicrous price and a great bit of business!

"We wish him the best of luck but his departure will open the door for the players who remain to demand a consistent role in the team."

That'll mean Coppell's not even started looking at replacements then. What an absolute shit for brains.
