2 world wars, 1 world cup I can't say much due to confidentiality, but I am ok to say there are people involved and money is involved and the hope is there will be a takeover at some point. That's all I can say for now, sorry.

Will keep you updated as best I can.

Isn't money usually involved in a takeover?

SPARTA As it's The Sun, I assume Fordham is behind this.

from what i've heard it will be a bit longer than that. Not going to say to much as what i got told is pretty confidential, but the main man is due back in the UK again next week

You never bring us good news Gaz... :(

Watts thinks we might see a statement this week, but no presser - assuming we are waiting for 'The Big' to be back for it..

frimmers3 If the Thai takeover is confirmed, will the "Royals" be known as the "Ladyboys" in the future?

I look forward to defensive mix-ups being described as "ping pong in the area".

Or "Thai'd up in knots"?

The keepers curried the ball over thai lime

I understand that if Hector keeps playing like this he'll be off to Bangkok with the Thai Police

Jonny Fordham @JonnyFordham · 10h
#readingfc expected to crack on with FL owners and directors tests this week - set to be announced if all finalised

Jonny Fordham @JonnyFordham · 10h
Because of the way these things work though don't be surprised if it's not this week as well. Isn't going to be rushed #readingfc

Yep we'll take our time and then we've got the excuse that by the time it goes through all our transfer targets have gone to other clubs, so we can't get in anyone new .... etc.

Some Berkshire journo based in Thailand just saying on BBCRB that Bunditkitsada is worth about £180m. No more.

Wouldn't surprise me... This isn't sitting well with me. I wonder if this is just a way of keeping the club out of the hands of the asset management companie(s) who just see money in the 'deal' No evidence either way just a gut feeling :(

Not sure his individual wealth is a concern given its been pretty well established that he's part of a consortium.

Jesus people, this isn't a single guy.

It's a consortium, and the billions come from the other people.

While I appreciate the consortium should be multiple people with a combined net worth in the billions, isn't that the sort of thing TSI was meant to be? Although I have a bit more confidence since the guy who brokered the Man City takeover is involved.

TSI was just Boris' money with some guys at the front end managing it......they weren't all putting millions in
