Yep Warburton would be ok. did very well with QPR up until the last couple of months (they were on a roll until they smashed us)

Should be considered

See some people on Twitter getting all excited about Carvahal. That’d be a no from me

I'd prefer Carvahal to Ince personally speaking, he's been on a bit of roll with Braga this season and his stock is rising.

And that sort of opinion does you no favours.

Warburton is another of those managers who is great at steadying a ship and turning things around, but after that runs out of ideas and goes stale.......

To be fair, we could do worse than Carvalhal. Experienced, knows the league, good record in this league and has done well at Braga this season as well. I do actually think he'd be a decent fit for us, although I could also see it going wrong as well.

Carvalhal translates to "oak grove" so for those who don't like the idea at the moment give it a while and it might grow on you.

Has be done "well" at Braga though? They're currently 4th. They finished 4th last season. Finished 3rd the season before he took over. Finished 4th the season before that and the season before that... Seems like he's just done what every other Braga manager in recent history has done.

Certainly nothing to Bragga about.

Won a trophy last season, losing in the other final whilst (arguably) matching the clubs best European performance since 2010/11 when they lost in the EL final to Porto, by reaching the QF stage this time around. I mention arguably as they were in the CL group stages in 2012/13, where they finished bottom of the group, which some might perceive as a better European performance due to being in a better competition.

It's a matter of opinion, but I think losing at the Quarter Final stage of the EL is a better European achievement than finishing bottom of a CL group.

I'd say that's doing pretty well for them.

They won the other cup the season before and got to the semis of both the season before that. So again, just carried on where his predecessors left off. Hasn't done badly, has just done the same as everyone else.

We’d be crackers not to sign Warburton. Or Carvalhal.
