Lack of depth on the bench is a real concern. Going into the busy Xmas period.

Once again we fail a big test. No plan B 30 minutes to go and we are passing back to the keeper and going sideways? You are not going to score from there! I would rather play like Leeds get the ball upfield early throw it in the mix and see what comes out. It's ok passing around when you have Messi Saurez etc But not Evans and Samual. We have lost on every visit to Blackburn we could be out the top 6 come Saturday night a more realistic league position for a very average team.

Greatwesternline Having seen the "penalty" on SSN i'd say it was more a foul on Gunter.

Too players running side by side and all of a sudden the Leeds player swings a leg out at Gunter and falls over.

Its absolutely ridiculous!

If that happened to me as a player i'd be so disillusioned with the game. There is diving, and there is exaggerating a fall, and then there is what that guy did.

Bonkers

That is indeed what happened
Although two would be more accurate

It's not a very average team though is it. Don't be ridiculous. They are actually a very good footballing side lacking an end product. A creative midfielder in that team and a proven goalscorer would generate a different result tonight.

We are third. We could be 6th on Saturday night or we could cement our position in third on Saturday night. Either away that is not very average is it!

Yep agree with Paul here. Last season we massively underachieved with a talented squad.

This season we have a talented squad once more, which has competed in all but a few games; but you simply can't win them all.

Be humble. There's 25 games to go. I look at the teams in the playoffs and our squad looks very strong on paper, we just need a few more additions and keep on applying the Stam philosophy which is not even 6 months old yet.

Leeds fans and SSN have had a right dig at our possession based football, but who actually gives a shit.

We are third and are quite obviously building something here.

Listened on the local Leeds radio. So we dominate possession and force there keeper into a few saves, conceded from a miss-hit cross & a dubious penalty., dont think Al Habsi had any other notable saves to make

Perspective they had Chris Wood starting upfront (£3m), we had Dom Samuel, an academy graduate that appears to be out his depth

Nothing new learnt from last night. This team will be much more effective with Swift back from injury and some more quality depth in the centre forward position

Sutekh Late consolation goal from Leeds.

Next up a trip to bogey side Blackburn.

Meanwhile at the top of the table Newcastle and Brighton are now rapidly disappearing out of sight

I wouldn't say they were ever realistically within our sight

Assuming we do not have big investment in January, if this club finishes in the top 10, its objective complete

Solid season with a clear long term plan, that gives us a platform to build on
