No one knows really, but if it is indeed true that we have bid for an ex Reading player then those who say they know will then mention the name by which time it will already be out whether succesfull or unsuccessful.

Who knows, there's why and why not reasons for the two names being regularly mentioned.

I imagine that our offer will be about £6.5m ish, if Swansea had £6.8m accepted.

Right back at you.

We have a sell-on clause, right?

"Ish" being the operative word.

I can't imagine us having a full 10% clause, I would've thought it would be profit. Then again, I'm just using my FM12 brain here.

Bidding slightly less than Swansea and waiving the % of profit is exactly the same as bidding the same as Swansea and not waiving it.

£6.5m is less than we got for Sigurdsson, if the sell on is 10% of the profit then we'd effectively pay... £20k less. Barely noticeable.

RoyalTank gylfi must be one of them as those 'in the know' would have put that rumor to bed a long time ago!
as for the big name signing, caught offside wrote an article about us signing owen yesterday saying that we will be paying a huge signing on fee to balance out the wage demands.

A massive signing on fee for someone with his injury record would probably constitute the worst piece of business in the history of the world. Ever.
