loyalroyal What a boring man, boring press conference and not a very good speaker, needed about half an hour to answer each question.

Archie's penaltybrendywendy2 world wars, 1 world cup
Well said. ["he's too new to management"]
Least he has the gift of the gab though.
Would make a good taxi driver.

2 world wars, 1 world cup Nah, it's even easier and more brainless throwing relentless unwitty one-liners than I thought. I'll do it for a little while to express some half hearted confusion over the appointment (which is hopefully unfounded) but then I'll grow up.
Unlike others (no names mentioned) I don't get off on winding people up and I have enough intellectual security and strength of character to change my opinion based on facts as things progress and admit to having been wrong, if warranted. I don't want to be an arrogant laughing stock with a stiff upper lip having been proven horribly wrong for 5 years like some on people on here.
Even if that doesn't happen it's not big or clever to act like a kid who didn't get his own way and you can be sure I'll defend the man BR because a) he's one of us now, b) I'm sure he'll try his hardest, and c) if he's good enough for the Madman he's good enough for me!
I still have twelve reasons to be disappointed with the 27-game wonder though.

LOLZ, 'I'll admit I'm wrong' - except if it has anything to do with Coppell or anything you feel bitter about. I'd much rather have a young exciting new manager with a good record recommended by the best in the world rather than someone who's proven himself to be an average manager for 20 years. But hey, at least you know you're getting mediocrity with Coppell. Pardew and McGhee were rubbish because they hadn't managed for years and years...

Whilst personally don't really mind how a manager etc sounds in a press conference/interview because its on the pitch that counts I do remember Rodgers coming in and sounding a little dull and maybe lacking in PR confidence to start but clearly improved as time went on..talking a good game clearly and like with us you will hope he can transfer that onto the pitch with motivating the players.

Probably has some scotch in him..... about half a bottle, just for dutch courage..... which actually wouldn't make sense as he would have sounded a bit Dutch as well, which clearly he didn't.Barry the bird boggler I know he's Northern Irish but why does he sound Scottish?
