Smoking Kills Dancing Doe winchester_royal Smoking Kills Dancing Doe I think Marek is slightly overatted on here and Harper is the opposite.
Can't see anything that Cisse or Harper have done in the last 2 games not to warrent getting the vote in this.
We've clearly not seen enough of Marek, but I thought he looked lightweight in the Premiership and hardly covered himself in glory before his injury this season.
I'm not trying to have a go at Marek, just can't understand why people would wanna change the team right now.
So Harper/Cisse for me. I think we'll see Karacan go out on loan in the next few weeks if Marek stays fit, no point him just hanging round in our reserves now.
LOL
He played 30 minutes of competitve football. How the oxf*rd can you make a statement like that?
He looked lost at Forest, as did the whole team to be fair.
It's more stupid to say Harper should be dropped that to call Marek overatted.
Marek's done nothing, imo looks light weight, more comfortable in a 3 man midfield. Yet on here some people talk about him being our best player.
He's almost as over hyped by some as your love child James Henry.

Didn't Henry score again for the reserves yesterday?
Admittedly some people may be prematurely praising Marek, but the lad is a regular for the Czech national team FFS. He has shown glimpses of his quality, and you can be lightweight and succeed in English football (See fabregas) as long as you have some strength in there with you, which Cisse will provide.
I like Harps as a person, I think he brings alot to the squad as a whole, but IMO he does not offer enough out on the pitch to justify automatic 1st team selection.
But it's a fantastic problem that we have, considering leaving out an established prem footballer, an icelandic international, a czech international, and a turkish U-21 internationlal.
