Halford

How can he be a flop if he's been only given a handfull of games to prove himself? Funny enough, we sold him at a profit, despite being a flop.

Actually, you have to say that he has been a flop for us, regardless of the chance he had or whatever, the small number of games etc. Simply because he's genuinely not performed.

Ok maybe flops was a bit strong to use but halls never seen him have a decent game in the reserves so I doubt we will see him in the first team unless in the cups, so I call that a poor buy my opinion not yours.

Halford I went to the star fans forum in april where Coppell was there and the question was risen is Halford in your future plans Coppell made it quiet clear he was, so in 2 months he has gone from being in his plans to "theres the door use it" so I class that as a poor buy. So what if we made a profit I would of liked to see us develop another young player.

AGAIN this is my opinion

Shorey, Kitson & Shaka for me.

One of the worst bit of business had to be Scott Murray. The club paid £650k in 2004, which was close to a record at the time, and sold him 9 months later for an undisclosed sum. Unlike Halford, I don't think there was any profit in that one!

How can he be classed as a flop? 2 and a bit games and is a flop? i think we will come to regret selling him

I heard we effectively broke even - we had only paid a small installment of the full sum and the undisclosed sum was almost exactly the same as the balance paid on the transfer

Though I can't beleive I'm saying it....

Hughesy!

Both in terms of value for money over the years, and the profit we made on him.
