Chaney we cant have too many complaints if/when we lose this game, good steady performance but we just havent created enough
0-1 at WHL (would be) no disgrace

Agreed

But the possession and shots at goal are pretty embarrassing.

Very poor in the second half. Created nothing at all.

Second half was fairly embarassing, Spurs should have won by more, although Zakora´s handball in the end is exactly the same as the penalty that was given.

Harper was woeful, Sidwell got bypassed, Zakora or Lennon man of the match. But I´m worried about the poor form of some players, and the lack of action to cope with the form

Spirit of Elm Park
Platypuss Well done Harper.

Even with Jermane Jenas out there you've managed to be the biggest fairy on the pitch by an absolute street.

Yet more incisive comment from the visually impaired and tactically bancrupt department of HNA.

Harper was embarrassingly poor today - a complete passenger.

Didn't close down, didn't create - the whole game passed him by.
Or were you watching a completely different game to the rest of us?

The game also confirms that when Glen has no joy, neither do we.

Both wingers looked a bit off to-day, with Hunt looking worse than Little.
Oster was better when he came on with a bit more zip.
Perhaps he should start ahead of Hunt next game.?
Perhaps SC hould look at Seol for the bench next game.
Duberry was ok, but I prefer the flair and 'presence' of Bikey, although he's a bit unpredictable at times. I think there was a general lack of flair overall though.

From what I heard on the radio, we were lucky not to lose 5-0.

Totally and utterly outplayed and outclassed.

Can anyone who watched the match on the 'net or who actually went confirm?

Whole team had a poor second half I reckon. Little was off the pace the whole game, Harper I forgot was playing and Kitson hardly touched the ball. Reasonable performance by Halford, though I hope he learns not to go for long throws every time.

Can't help thinking this might be the start of an end of season slide to mid-table - hope I'm wrong.

The slide has been on for a few games. Most of the first-choice midfield and strikeforce have been below par for a while

Although its frustrating, I really don't care as the slide came when it was obvious we're safe. Which was all I cared about this season. The players put their souls into this season, so i'll allow then an end-of-season slump

From what I heard we did concede - twice. Both were called offside but only one of them was. Granted, the penalty was harsh. But 1-0 flattered us it seems.

Thanks AS and DR - certainly sounded like that on teh radio. That's nice to hear at least.

Still - we beat Spurs on aggregate so I'm not too upset anyway.

2 weeks without a game below par against Portsmouth
2 weeks without a game below par against spurs, we need to play games to keep our momentum going
