Pepe the Horseman That team does not fill me with confidence.

Why isn't Elliot playing? Wasn't it his birthday this week? Why is Selles trying to ruin his birthday? Is he stupid?

Elliott sounded like he was trying to get sent off vs MK. He blows so hot and cold at times.

Might be dropped as a lesson. Which would be typical of Selles' brilliant man management.

Maybe he wanted his birthday week off.

Abbey will be at LB - he went there when Dorsett came on against Milton Keynes.

Clyde1998 The Bristol Rovers fans, like the Portsmouth ones, are complaining about not being able to get more than ~2,800 tickets. They're clearly forgetting about the concept of segregation, both externally and internally within the stadium. We'd have to modify our segregation, especially internally to accommodate more away fans with the current set up. The police would no doubt have to approve of any changes - more away fans would probably mean higher policing costs. Additionally giving more tickets would require moving STHs.

Selling an extra 1,000 tickets for £25 would only net us £20k after tax, which may not even cover the cost of the modified segregation (once including the safety certification, labour costs, etc). Realistically, of teams in our division only about five teams would realistically even sell more than 2,800 tickets anyway - Portsmouth, Bristol Rovers, Oxford, Derby, Charlton.

TBH I think we should be open to moving 1871 and giving the entire South Stand to away fans like we used to, I think 1871 if you moved them to Y26 for example could well still outsing a full South Stand and might generate more noise from the rest of the East Stand, plus more money in the coffers and you could then have the east half of the south stand as the final away allocation so if away teams don't sell you can then offer it to home fans.

No we should not. That gives the away team a huge advantage.

3k is a generous enough allocation for away fans

He was complete toilet on Sat, as was Mukairu who everyone loves on here.

Neither deserve to start atm on the basis of the first half on Sat...Elliot is lucky to even be on the bench

Sutekh The latest fiddling includes Dorsett's league debut...

3 in midfield at home to Bristol Rovers with only 1 striker? Really?

Piss off Selles

As others have said, it was his birthday on Sunday, so it's likely he had a party to go to Saturday evening. Not an excuse, but understandable if he needed to shoot off early and that was at the back of his mind.

I can't make any sense of the starting 11 tonight and hope I eat my words. But at home we create a lot of chances so playing a 2nd striker makes sense? Especially in a big game where less than 3 points is unacceptable. If we were away I'd be more understanding.

Surely, surely Azeez has to start scoring one day.
His abysmal record is starting to approach Maupay's and Maupay finally scored again at the weekend so............................................................

Crikey, looking like a piss poor turnout tonight.
The away end looks almost sold out.

We also concede loads of goals.

Set up for hard fought 1-0 win with Smith getting off the mark.

Rovers fans are right - continued tennis ball throwing is embarrassing. It’s half-hearted and had its day.

Think of a better protest or stay stum.

Cricket balls at the opposition keeper? Dai might even hear about that one. I mean heavy jail sentences but…
