Interesting how he's picked the ones that were slightly less critical of Rodgers.

Ideal Yeah he picked only the ones he liked..

That's a poor show by Stephen. I will go on RAWK and tell him off. You will recognise the username if you look. You will also see how long I have been registered there and realise I really am who I say.

Edit. Been on RAWK and I couldn't find it. Maybe he has read these last few comments and has pulled it to edit it. Hope so.

Ideal Oh please, all you have to do is to click the link three posts above yours just here, if that's too hard I will post it for you again:
http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=305018.0

Oh please. The last post on that link is 9.45am and unlike here the time is correct on RAWK. I assure you it was not there no matter how many oh pleases you post. I assure you there would be a lot more posts after that time if it had not been removed. It may be back now and I will check but it wasn't there before

Edit. - Nope still not there Ideal.

1. Sorry to bring it up, but Reading currently sit bottom of the league, 8 points from safety. Is that gap too big to overcome?

Yes. Sadly total under investment in the playing squad at this level YET AGAIN has really stitched our season up. One hopes that now the message has struck home to those running the club and should we ever be back this way we'll at least be able to put up a fight.

2. The Powers that Be at Reading decided to make a change at replace Brian McDermott with Nigel Adkins. What did you think of McDermott's reign, was the change justified and are you happy with the decision to pick Adkins?

McDermott's reign was successful and he will always be a total hero at RFC. However the playing style left a lot to be desired in my opinion especially this season so I'd say the change was justified, Adkins plays football the right way and we're looking forward to the future.

3. It has been a difficult season for Reading, but which of your players have impressed you the most, and has anyone not lived up to your expectations?

Mariappa, Shorey, Pearce, McAnuff and Le Fondre. The rest just aren't up to this level, not suited to our "style" or are injured!

4. I'd like to get your thoughts on Liverpool before we look ahead to the game itself, if you don't mind. What have your thought of us this season?

Things are going in the right direction at last there is some progress. Far too inconsistent to be able to win anything though but that will come if BR can get some further decent signings in the summer. Sadly can't see an assault on the title for proper until Anfield finally gets its makeover and you can get the extra 20k in. What is the current position on that by the way has planning permission been given to redevelop yet?

5. Brendan Rodgers had a brief spell at your club, what are your thoughts on him? Do you think he can be successful at Liverpool?

Intelligent manager and plays football the right way. His inexperience led him to change things far too quickly at Reading and he got the push (although I personally think there was more to it than just the fact we were struggling in the relegation mire of Division 2 at the time).

6. Which of our payers have impressed your this season?

Sahin, Sterling, Sturridge, Suarez, in fact any player beginning with S

7. Looking at the game itself, how do you see Reading lining up? To have any realistic chance of survival I'm guessing you have to get three points from the game. Can you see Reading looking to attack Liverpool, and if so, are you confident you can do what AstonVilla couldn't and stop us hitting you on the break?

We'll play 1 up front at home again and let you play as much as you like in your half. Adkins is already starting to get a more fluid passing style together and getting us to sit not quite so deep but, unfortunately, the technical ability is not up to this level throughout the team and we'll struggle.

8. Finally, care to predict the score?

Liverpool should win at a canter, 0-4 won't be far off in my opinion.

1.lol yeah.
2. Unbelievably good. No. Best of a meh bunch
3. McAnuff. Pogrebnyak
4. A little better than last year but nothing special, too reliant on Suarez.
5. Is trying to brainwash people into thinking you are playing like Brazil 1970. you are actually slightly better than West Brom
6. Sterling. 8 kids by 9 teenage girls is impressive, even by scouse standards

Eh? numbers the right way round or did one fail to produce

Anfield Kopite It is back on now and I have posted.

I assume Mikey_LFC was a dirty scouse pauper and could only afford to live in the scummier parts of Whitley. I assume he accepts that we can generalise all scousers are whining benefit scroungers with delusions of grandeur because their club used to be the best in the country rather than the 8th best it is now. That must be acceptable seeing as we're all the worst sort of unknowledgeable IN-GER-LUND fans.
