Happy so far but I think we'll have to step up a gear or two to get the three points we all yearn for.

LightwaterRoyal Great first half, Defence solid (although getting lucky a few times), Tabb solid, McAnuff excellent, Kebe shown a few glimpses of his better self, a very good out ball, Roberts and Pog making a nuisance of themselves upfront.

Saving the best for last Mikele Leigertwood has dominated this game, dont know what all the jizzing over Berbatov is about, Mikele has marshaled him well and won the ball back constantly

Tbf Berbatov has had a lot of space at times and most of Fulham's decent moves are going through him.

Mariappa was caught out basically everytime they attacked in that half, our corners were fukking shit as well.

Decent overall though.

Ian Royal We look vulnerable at the back, poor finishing and offside have saved us so far. Our final ball is poor, ill-conceived and too obvious a lot of the time. But we're definitely in this game and we're ahead. I think it'll take more than one goal to win us the points though.

So we're slightly better in the first half then.

We seem to abandon our defensive line frequently with Mariappa or Gorkss rushing out (and rarely winning the ball) leaving a big old hole or one of the four dropping deep to mark someone who's clearly offside, leaving gaping danger areas to run into elsewhere and remain easily onside. Between that and our midfield having a tendency to forget to track late runners into our box (not in this game so far tbf) and it's no wonder we haven't kept a single clean sheet yet.

A few promising moments but McAnuff just hit a terrible cross. Worst I've seen this season. Missed everyone and nearly went for a throw in without bouncing

You called it Ian, Mariappa runs out again, Berba slips into the pocket and ruiz bangs it in!

I would hate to play with Berbatov. Same sort of sentiment for Jason Roberts.
