As a wayward Khumalo clearance hit Noel Hunt on the head and goes out for a throw tomorrow afternoon, I'll be thinking of Madejski's immortal words:

"The Championship is more exciting than the Premier League anyway"

The only chairman in the league who is pleased his team loses a play-off final.

Reading to win 3-0, it'll be 0-0 at HT and I fully expect the boo boys to be out on parade to boo the players off at HT too

I don't believe in booing, but I will be giving them an arms-folded 100 yard stare as they traipse off. Shall we all do that? I think it'll be quite haunting and effective, like the lake scene in The Woman In Black.

Just heard I have to go fix summat at our holiday home in N Wales between lets.

That just about guarantees a goal-fest for RFC

To fix the fact its in Wales will take so long you'll miss the rest of the season. Who will count the stats?

floyd__streete If we don't win, can we have a WHERE'S THE MONEY GONE pitch invasion?

Depends if any repairs to the pitch after such an invasion are "Tax Deductible." If not, then I fear Gordon Neat being sold for £50 to Aldershot to fill the "Pot Holes" it creates.

The Prisoner Reading 1 Barnsley 2

Bird & parkinson for them

^^^This^^^^ ....... as we're 4/7 on to win with them being 9/2 and 3/1 the draw, which were the same odds as the 1st game of last season against Scunthorpe, and, funnily enough this was the score, things that make you go......

good call except for the bird parkinson bit!

Hopefully we've had our "Scunthorpe" for the season. I don't know why I was so convinced we'd lose. Had £10 on 0-2 @ 50-1, so before HRK's pen I was going to buy you all a drink (despite living in Chester). Totally forgot that I'd also backed 1-2 at 28-1 with a fiver......
