SouthDownsRoyal getting past cardiff is a different prospect to swansea

im not sure where all this nonsense is coming about swansea being head and shoulders above anyone else. decent team, well organised, defensively sound, but theres nothing to be scared of there.
its not like theyre liverpool, or everton or anything is it.

Of course Swansea are head and shoulders above us....

In the last couple of months of the season Swansea lost to Scunthorpe, Derby and Preston. In their only game against PL opposition during the season they lost to Wigan.

In the second half of the season we won more points than Swansea.

Oh, actually it looks like we're head and shoulders above them on recent form.

Also, while their home form is excellent, conceding less than QPR. Their away form is nothing to write home about ....

SouthDownsRoyal No Kebe No win.

End of.

Enjoy the day out at Wembley but its championship football for us next season without Kebe.

Swansea are a better side, especially if no Kebe.

What a waste of time, emotion and money.

:x + + :x

Bl00dy bloke would have been out quicker if he'd broken something ffs - hope we sell him for a few quid, no commitment.

Does it completely sh1t on your genius theory to point out that Kebe played in both our defeats to Swansea this season?

Maybe more relevant that Leigertwood didn't play in either, and if ever we needed him it was against a team who like to knock it about in midfield?

HRK form has suggested he can help cover Jimmy's loss (if it turns out to be necessary). It's Leigertwood who is key. Without him they would just pass straight through us, with him we have much greater chance of success.

I know, but I can't help remembering that they overtook us at the end of the season and made third.

Good, wouldn't want him hurting himself on the crash mats or anything.

...and Rodgers has taught them to communicate in Welsh - Federici's allergic to Welsh - we've got no chance.

Mintymurray Jimmy... ...Can it be healthy to put so much store by one player who has failed to deliver more often than not...

Even at his worst he was often the one who created the moment that won the game.

We don't NEED him in order to win - I think the key thing is to stop Swansea playing - , but it would be nice to at least have him on the bench.

I don't see how you can say they overtook us at the end of the season

At the end of Feb they were 2nd and we were 10th
At the end of March they were 3rd and we were 7th
At the end of April they were 4th and we were 5th
They finished 3rd and we finished 4th on the same points

Swansea are a good team on home turf only conceding 11 goals all season, but away from their place they concedwd 3 times as many, so in a place like Wembley form goes out the window, and it shows that whilst they have a good defence in their town , its not so good out of it !

HOME

WON 15
DREW 5
LOST 3
FOR 41
AGAINST 11

AWAY

WON 9
DREW 3
LOST 11
FOR 28
AGAINST 31

The Cardiff win will be such a boost mentally to the players; as without Jimmy they believe they can win and win well, so with Jimmy they should be even better. And as Kebe will be playing on Monday, we should be just fine.
