They've emerged as genuine candidates after an astonishing two months and I wouldn't argue with anybody describing them as the favourites for that second automatic spot.

Gets my goat, talk like that.

If you someone is the "favourite" you're making a specific statement about whether or not the bookies have them at the shortest price in the market. There's no "argument" about it (unless across different bookies opinion differs). Cardiff are the favourites for automatic promotion. If someone reckons that Reading have the best chance, fine, but don't use the word "favourites," because that's not for you to decide.

2-0 to us. Was not at all impressed with Leeds at the MadStad in November, and they`ve hit a bit of a bad patch in the last few weeks.

..but in true Peter Beagrie "i dont want to look an a*se at it could affect my sky deal" style, he adds this at the end...

Those sides have been up there for a while, but Reading are the gatecrashers and really could go all the way. But even as somebody who watches a lot of Championship football, I think it would be silly to make too many predictions.

= I watch a lot but I still dont know..

id rather listen to Paddy Power and his odds

The real story is surely the meeting between posters Papereyes and St Pauli. I think we ought to include our predictions for that.

Leeds 1, Reading 3, RobRoyal's Goat to escape his grasp and run onto the pitch in the 93rd minute and butt Beccio in mid-strike, securing the points for the Royals.
