He was offered more money at Fulham.

He decided to stay at Reading therefore it wasn't about the money.

What's difficult to understand about that? :|

£80,000 might not have been enough to justify the move from his point of view.

Whatever the reason for him staying, I'm deeply unhappy that he and his sidekicks are still here. The West Brom warnings are proving to be well founded.

It WAS DEFINATELY and without any SHADOW of a doubt , about the money

its not just 80K, he would have wanted xx bonuses for getting Fulham in the Prem, tbh I dont know where he lives but if he lives outside London now he would have cost him a few quid if he wanted to move to West London ...the rumour was it was the bonuses that he wasnt happy with, if not the money then what is it>???

The old adage, what´s the answer to all questions???- money $$$$

Jungle drums are beating again...

Rumours that Fulham are back in for Clarke. Stranger things have happened. Watch the betting patterns!

Fail to beat QPR and i reckon he's out the next time he fails to win, with the danger switch resetting to min 5 points from the next three games every time he manages to get a couple of wins on the bounce.

The Thai's are about to learn another English lesson. Those involved in football never fall on their sword. My gut feeling is they don't seem the type to pay out big bonuses for failure..

If you choose to believe that. The more plausible suggestion is he agreed a deal but then wanted to increase the bonuses, which Fulham declined. He had little option but to return to Reading cap in hand. He's burned a lot of bridges here!

I think the real question is, there's been an typo in the thread title for 20 pages now and it's still not corrected.

I can't be the only one that's bugging.

I noticed my error after page 5, but I couldn't really be bothered to change it. I think it adds charecter to the thread.

Neil Warnock might be surprised on Thursday at not being the most unpopular man in the dug outs at Madejski Stadium for once

Don't want him. We need someone to breath some life into the squad. Not sure he's right.
