yup- proper made me laugh. gwarn jimmy, sock it to em!

~ "we are in big trouble, but if you dont spend any money to help the team, that is what will happen, so the chairman, i think the chairman has loads of money b anyway, so he needs to spend some of it"

some proper passion.

and great to see him back last night, got alot of stick last night from fans around me who know nothing.
more interested in trying to keep the ball, building the attack, bringing others into play etc than hoofing another hopeful cross at our innefective strikers.
if only more of our players had done that.

Didn't think Jimmy was that kind of guy!

Would like to see Kebe and McCleary on the wings with maybe HRK playing just off the striker(s), as he doesn't really have the pace to beat players down the flanks.

Further confirmation that Jimmy Kebe is in fact the greatest man that ever lived.

Yes - just not defending!

(I realise I'm almost following you round the team forum now Brenders!)

Good to see the kebster showing a bit of passion in that interview. He looked assured on the ball going forward - it was good to have him back in the team last night.

Although he rarely puts a tackle in he makes a nuisance of himself and often slows down their attack enough for the defence to recover a bit.

Credit to Kebe for that. In all fairness, he looked like he was leaving last January until TSI came in and assured him that we would be investing, so maybe he feels that he signed the contract under false pretenses. Apparently he was on Talksport today aswell and apparently he said that we're going down? I didn't catch it, so not entirely sure what was said.

Interesting to see that Kebe came straight back into the side having been out for 6 weeks.

I thought he did pretty well, typical Kebe performance. At times he carried the ball really well and actually put Arsenal on the back foot at times. He, as ever, scuffed his final ball or chose the wrong option too often, but that's what we get with him I guess.

I heard it on the radio this morning as well, it was great to hear the passion from JK.

To say he didnt play well last night is laughable.

You've never heard me so angry then when he continually hogs the touchline.

melonhead 's fine

he can defend. and does.better than(not hard when the rest dont bother) all our other wingers last night

I've not seen sufficient evidence of this Brenders. He may track back and therefore make the opponent think he will tackle but very rarely does he make a move on a player with the ball. When he does it's invariably mis-timed or hopelessly half hearted. He simply should not be allowed in the first third of the field.

At the moment I think he feels he needs to help out bearing in mind how dire our defence is. I say NO! stay up where you can make a positive contribultion to the game.

no no no.

agree id prefer him up top where he can hurt teams.
but have been impressed with his workrate, tracking back, and even occasional tackles/interceptions and blocks

Nearly 5 years now since Jimmy Kebe first entered our lives. Apart from a 6 month spell at the start of 2010, I've never really got what the fuss was all about. Then again, I am not a huge fan of the Back to the Future films either.
