Coming to Reading was probably the worst move for Caskey.

This has no doubt been posted and reposted countless times, but I think it's worth repeating the England U-18 team who won the 1993 Youth Cup-

Kevin Gallen (71' Noel Whelan), Paul Scholes, Robbie Fowler, Julian Joachim

Young, not-yet-fat Daz captained and scored the only goal (kept Nicky Butt on the bench, too). If ending up with us during our late 90s mire isn't pissing it all away by comparison, I don't know what is. And he clearly ended up fatter than anyone else in that team.

Was he fatter than this guy who has now ended up playing in this sh1te kit for North Queensland Fury?

Wrong.

Despite owning both a property company and a fishing lake in Northallerton, he is still plying his lithesome body in the Non-League circuits.

He has just left Halesowen Town where he was captain, played 45 minutes in a recent Arnold Town match, and is looking at a playing and coaching role at Blue Square North outfit Ilkeston Town...not bad for a fat 58 year old....
