Oh dear.

Our odds on going straight back must be slashed now.

I don't blame him as he missed all last seasons Premiership games.

No loyalty in football as we know.

Sad day.

He basically left us a year ago anyway what with his injury last season so going in to the season without him isn't anything new and isn't as big a loss as it could have been.

It was a big loss last season and one we didn't replace then.

That would make sense if his replacement for most of last season was still at the club, but he isn’t.

What a tosser - how much did we pay him last year while he was injured, as soon as he's fit he joins another club

I was a huge Little fan, to say I feel let down is a monumental understatement.

Exactly and we were so bad that we only went down by 3 goals.

Nobody wanted his replacement to stay at the club so I don't see your point.

ROFLeading. Didn’t Nicky Hammond say the other day he was confident that Little would stay? Presumably he also thinks that the moon is made of cheese.

The margin doesn't matter. Had we stayed up by one goal, Little would have still been a big loss last season, one that we didn't replace then and one we could have/should have replaced.

11 players played right midfield last season. 11 square pegs and 1 round hole.

I would hazard a guess that this was a very late approach by Portsmouth as Little himself had told the Chronicle that he would be staying (an article they published yesterday).

Portsmouth fans are ecstatic - they ware expecting SWP or Solano.

How old is he, 32/3?

Season in the Premiership with the FA Cup winners >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> season with an unambitious relegated side.

More chance of back-to-back relegations than the laughable notion of us going back up.

A better comparison papereyes is judging the points and league position difference of having Little for 06/07 and not having Little for 07/08.

Completely agree with you mate. Still we've got Jimmy Kebe and I await the headline 'Royals in Oster U Turn'
