Time to dump Federici and Stack as number 2 and get a serious keeper in to push Marcus for the next couple of years.
We are very exposed if Marcus gets a long term injury!

The 4 I was referring to are: Aaron Brown, Ben Hamer, Jonathan Hayes and Scott Davies

I agree that Golbourne will not be sold (he isn't out of contract), will prob go out on loan again but to a better team. Alex Pearce is the future - prob loan for 6 konths than back in time to step in for Sonko and Bikey in january. Osano is a doubt, may go "on the list".

Of the 4 above:
- Brown is a long way down the CB list -unlucky with injury, but never going to be picked
- Hamer may get a one year, but is now behind A Fed and Anderson
- Hayes couldn't even get a game for MK Dons, so he will never make our team (anyway James Henry is a much better prospect)
- Davies is worth a run in the reserves at CM as we are so short, so may get a year, but he is behind Karacan I suggest, although a different sort of CM player.

I'd like to see Sir Steve take Pearce, Karacan, Henry, Osano, Cox and Kelly of the non-squad players to Korea or at least play them in some pre-season games as he will never play them in the Prem.

Is it really worth giving Cox another contract? Is he really likely to be pushing for a first team place next season? He is 23 already and has made just three substitute appearances.

Coxy's actually only 20, but I can see where you made the mistake, I remember reading an article earlier stating he was 23. I'm glad he's been offered a new deal, I think he has alot of potential and hes been doing very well whilst on loan, so it would be good just to give him a tiny bit longer to prove himself!

good point. and he will be wanting first team football soon im sure because he wont want to be in the reserve team throughout his career. really happy to see that de la has been offered a new contract as he has done really well covering murts poistion. stacky, well if there any point of him staying? we got federici and then andersonn who looks to be a good prospect so i doubt that he will get a chance.

I rate Cox and think he is worth another year - links play well and is cover for the strikers. Did well at Northampton and not that far behind Long. If we sign another quality striker to backup Kitson then fair enough.

Hayes may have played last night - I didn't check, but he hasn't been a regular starter and just think we have better alternatives

I saw Hayes play for Franchise at Wycombe a few weeks ago and, although he only got on for the last 20 minutes or so, he was easily man of the match for them.

Exactly - sub for MK Dons! Cox and Pearce have been much more successful in their loans - starting and scoring

Apologies if he is 20. He's 23 according to the OS:

I'm happy for DLC BTW. He's proved himself to be a useful member of the squad on more than one occasion.

I would be sorry to see Hamer go, as I had high hopes for him.
