Agreed that there are definitely some 'under fives' in that area now. But lets not generalise please. Also Im a bit reluctant if they want to make a bit of noise, fair play to them. Darlo was a joke on Tuesday though - like a youth club it was!!

I moved into Y26 from the NE corner for the start of this season. My first game - Reading v Newport County - Canon League Division 3 - April 1985. I have seen some shi t, believe me.

BORING BORING BORING ALERT!!!!!

Get over it guys. All you lot seem to do is moan about everything:

* why can't we sell out
* it's full of plastics now
* makes us look even more plastic than we already are
* why do they chant that?
* our support is pathetic
* we only took 1500 away? Other teams took 4000!
* seriously embarassing

What is embarassing is the fact that some of you never seem to be content with anything. Moaning about chants, about no chants, about what they chant, who chants it.

Change the record... PLEASE?!

Royal Lady We had the misfortune of seating in Y26 last night. The average age is about 14 and they were trying to encourage "fights" with the Darlo supporters. I sincerely hope I never EVER have to sit there again. :roll:

me and my mum also had this unfortunate experience, was sat near the scoreboard and some weirdo in front of us always made circle motions in the air when he was insulting the darlington fans as if he was trying to look hard, ended moving closer to the front in the second half still no improvement :roll:

That's the only stand I haven't been in during a Reading game. I've heard it's good though.

To be fair whilst it is clear few of the Y26ers were there prior to the HST boom, neither was most of the North Stand.

If we were doing as well as we are now and still only getting 14K a week, this forum would be packed with threads bitching about it.

shadesrwrf I can only apologise for the behaviour of our Neanderthal neighbours and make the suggestion that some time in the future you sample the more refined, discerning and cultured environment we have created in Y25.

It is NOT fair enough. We have a good name as a club and do not want a stupid minority to spoil it. Perhaps it IS fair enough to point out that if these kids take it too far, they may well be banned from the stadium. It has happened, you know!

What is wrong with singing to support your team, and watching them while you do it? These people who do nothing but bait the opposing fans are obviously not watching the football if they are spending their time looking at the opposing fans. We all want to encourage youngsters as they are the future of the club's support, but we want them to be SUPPORTERS!

For a change I sat in Y26 on Tuesday as well!

I have to say that as a regular in the North Stand there were some right little Oiks in this section.

I came away disturbed for life. Cant wait to get back to my normal seat and normal people on Saturday.

It does strike me, as a Y25 regular for a number of years, that the majority of the current crop of Y26ers seem to be little buggers who want an atmosphere but are clueless as to how to go about it. Seems they seem to think that an atmosphere is created by constantly havin a go at the away contingent rather than singing supportive chants. Ok, we all have a go at away fans occasionally in my area, but we also watch the game and support the team. Or try to anyway. Sometimes a player's inept performance is beyond support!!
