Did anyone listen to Radio Berks after the game? - did they talk about Mariappa? - Did Tim ask Nigel why he wasn't selected?

I missed it but having seen other people comment on it they appear to have dodged the question. Brilliant journalism as ever from Dim Tellor if true.

Simply I reckon he hasn't impressed Nigel in Pre-season or he might have pulled something in the warm up. If he didn't warm up at the start there maybe something wrong. Was anyone there really early

He didn't warm up. The news that he wasn't in the squad came through about 2pm.

Mariappa wouldn't have played against Bristol Rovers if it was him who failed the drug test.

I honestly think Adkins chose to leave him out, from what I've seen of him in pre-season he's been a little disappointing, and while I would agree he was one of our better players last season he didn't really do enough to guarantee himself a starting place for this season.
