However upset some may be, surely it's clear now that he doesn't feature in McD's plans for this season............................and given that he was never deemed fit to last 90mins in the Championship, this news should be welcomed by all of us.

Nevertheless, I wish him all the best for the future.

Scored some important goals which helped us win the league. The brace against Millwall will always be remembered along with an injury time winner against Brizzle (?)

Maguire Can see others of his type being farmed out under the new regime tbh.

That's a bit strong, even from you.

Thanks and c ya

YES he scored a great goal at Bristol City (Which I missed, lolz), YES he scored an important winner at Barnsley the season before that but my overall memory of him will be the disgusting performance he put in against Stevenage in the cup this year. GET OUT. NOW.

Was the Stevenage game his last showing? If so his last touch in a Reading shirt was a horrifically sliced right foot shot in injury time

Good luck to him. Hope he does well at Sion. He scored a few key goals for us so we should be grateful for that.

Why the upset here? :|

He was absolute mince for us in all honesty; unfit and hardly had the ability to overcome that issue.

Mintymurray Could have helped himself no end by getting fit! Seemed a tall order for a professional sportsman!

Agree with that. Could well have been down to liking a few drinks!

I'm sure he was fitter than he sometimes looked but he still seemed to tire extremely quickly and look shattered after a short exertion. Mind you, I can remember some quite successful athletes in the past who always looked knackered very early on in their races but then went on to win. So perhaps Manset was similar.

Looked a decent player who just wasn't enough of an athlete.

Thanks for the goals, some were absolute beauts. Best of luck at Sion, best for you and us.

I hope he got a Championship medal, he scored some important goals. He has ability, just never really seemed to get fit and consistant

Did you not see the goals he scored left, right and centre for Hereford?

He was a star in the making.

Really deserves it. Got us at least 4 points in this season.

Over-weight, wasn't professional enough to get his weight down and keep it down; and he was a handful behind the scenes. There is absolutely no disappointment in his leaving the club. I'm glad he's gone!
