Our game terminates before theirs commences.

I don't see how they can present the trophy at Brum because we are not the only fans in that stand. All it takes is one carefully thrown bottle from the upper tier at Jobi to ruin it all.

All final games are played at the same time. Always.

So which ground will the trophy be at?

Well if we've already won it, I'd guess it won't be wherever Saint's are playing. If it's not decided, it'll depend on whether they'd have a ceremony at St Andrews or not. If they would, probably some where central with a helicopter. Unless they have more than one.

Probably somewhere central, as in between Birmingham and Southampton. May as well just leave it in Reading then...

peterroyal76 I'm not sure they would give us the trophy at St Andrews. I don't know how well the 'locals' would take it!

they are not going to hold back from giving the champions their trophy just because the opposition fans might not like it

Just empty out the Brum support and hold us back. That might pee off those away supporters in the home end though.

But because we are not the only fans in the Gill Merrick stand we would be presenting it in front of them.

If we win it the presentation of the trophy will be at the parade on the 29th.

Seems a bit unfair that Southampton get to play the last game of the season after everyone else.

... I don't know if this has been mentioned, but it's been rumoured that Southampton will begin the commencement of their game after our game's finalised completion this weekend...

Funny thread this one, and in case you hadnt realised Southampton play after us this Saturday but not on the final Saturday.

Sure we will get the trophy at Birmingham if we win it, as thats where the players and management will be along with several thousand very happy, slightly drunk fans. Personally I can't wait for that moment, forget the boring old parade around Reading thats for mums and kids!

West Brom won the league on the final day, away at QPR. They had the trophy presentation there. Given our defeat to Birmingham 3 years ago, I hope we can pick up the title.
